Are they really oil paintings?
Yes! PicPerfect does not sell canvas transfers, lithographs or giclee prints. We do not print a watermark on the canvas and then paint over it like many other affordable retailers. PicPerfect only supplies 100% hand painted oil paintings. They are painted entirely and exclusively by hand. Details...

Are your oil paintings painted with thick or flat texture?
It depends on the style of the painting. Simply contact us at sales@picperfect.com.au and we will advise you of the details of your chosen painting.

Are your oil paintings Ready to Hang?
No we no longer stretch paintings

Who are your artists?
Our artists have, on average 15 years of experience and they all have advanced degrees in fine arts. As we have a large team of artists, we employ specialists in certain disciplines and styles.

Are your oil paintings Original?
Yes, all our oil paintings are Original, Innovative and of High Quality. Guaranteed!

What is the quality of your stretcher bars?
We use durable high strength 3 cm high stretcher bars. Covered in our 7 day Money Back Guarantee!

What is the biggest size I can order?
Our largest painting totals 2.25m x 60cm. However, if you have a special request, our artists can work on even much larger paintings. We have just finished stretching a 3m x 2m oil painting. There is no limit.!!

Do you offer any Guarantees?
Yes we do. The first guarantee happens when, if requested by you during checkout, to email you a photo of your painting. Our guarantee is that the actual Oil Painting’s quality is represented in the photo. What else can you paint?
Just about anything! If you have a photo of a beautiful sunset, your family member, pet or a close-up of a flower that you would like reproduced, no problem. Apart from photos, we can also reproduce custom digital designs into hand painted masterpieces. All we need is a high resolution image to work from: (Minimum 3MB .jpg file size). The options are limitless! Please send your picture to sales@picperfect.com.au along with the size you want and any changes needed and we will get back to you with a price.

Can you change colours, parts of the design, size, texture etc?
Yes, contact sales@picperfect.com.au or fill out the special request form, with the item number and the changes that you need and we will be more than happy to accomodate your needs. We will then advise you of the total cost. We can even change features of a painting or picture that is not part of our collection. Simply send us the pic in jpg file

Can you paint a portrait or custom oil painting from a hard copy photograph?
Yes, we can. Simply post it to PicPerfect P.O. BOX 3271, CAROLINE SPRINGS, VICTORIA 3023 along with any changes, size needed and preferences and we will chase up a price for you.

How long does it take until I get my painting(s)?
Please allow 3 - 5 Business day to stretch, pack and despatch, then a further 1–7 days for delivery, depending on where you are located. For custom orders, paintings not in stock and portraits please allow up to 17 Business days for PicPerfect to receive the artwork, and then a further 1–7 Business days for delivery. Details...

How do you pack the oil painting?
We firstly fill the painting with bubble wrap to prevent any stretching of canvas, then we wrap the painting with more bubble wrap. It is then put into a cardboard box, labelled with consignee and fragile stickers.

Do I get any extras with my oil painting?
Yes, you do... You receive a free pen and pins to hang the paintings on

Can I see the painting before you ship it?
Yes. definitely when requested we will email you a digital photograph of the painting for your approval.

Are reproduction masterpieces legal?
Yes! The only limitation is that the artwork must have been passed into the public domain. This means that the artist must have passed away at least 50 years ago, and in some cases, 70 years ago. You must also state that the painting is a reproduction, therefore making it very legal.

Do you offer Rental Art Insurance?

Is your Art Rental Tax Deductible?
Yes, we send you out an invoice which can be used for tax purposes.

Which Artwork do you rent out?
We only hire out Oil Paintings that are in our catalogues.

Do you have oil paintings that are really cheap but still good quality?

PAYMENT

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards via Paypal: Visa, Mastercard, American Express.
Direct Deposit, Cheques/Money Orders and Telephone Orders are also Welcome. Details... 

Is your payment option secure?
Yes, definitely. When using our Buy Now Buttons you are re-directed to the Secure Paypal Checkout system. Payment is made securely and a receipt of transaction is sent to your email address.

Do I pay upfront for the painting or when I receive it?
You pay when you place your order with us via the Paypal Buy Now buttons or you can either pay via direct deposit, telephone, cheque or money order. Details shown in Payment details page. All online transactions work this way, and keep in mind that all paintings ordered from PicPerfect are backed by our 7 Money Back Guarantee on Quality.

Is there tax to be paid and/or import duty?
For overseas customers PicPerfect will always pay the import tax or duty on your behalf (Auspost offers this option to us). There is no tax for Australian customers.

Can I return an oil painting?
Even after approving the initial emailed photos of the painting, if you're unhappy with the painting due to it being damaged or has a fault with canvas, oil paint and design. Please contact us at art@picperfect.com.au with the details and some photographs of the problems and we will offer a full refund minus the shipping cost or exchange. Our return policy is valid for 7 Days and the painting must be returned within 14 days from the items arrival date. Details...

How do I return a painting?
It is compulsory to contact us at art@picperfect.com.au before returning a painting and await exact return instructions. Our shipping cost will be deducted from the refund. Returned oil paintings must be wrapped & packed in its original packaging and sent back to us. The item must be returned as instructed. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a penalty of up to $75.00

What if I change my mind?
Sorry, we will not refund or exchange in this case, so please choose carefully.

SHIPPING

When will my order be shipped?
If the Oil Painting is in stock it will be despatched in 3 - 5 Business days. Custom Orders and Portraits will be despatched within 22 business days. Details...

How much is the shipping cost?
We ship Australia Wide starting from a low $30.00 to maximum $40.00 depending on size and weight (Includes tracking and Insurance).  For Worldwide shipping please email our team member at sales@picperfect.com.au and we will advise you of the required delivery charge.

Which shipping company do you use?
PicPerfect only uses Australia Post – Registered Post. Parcels usually arrive on time, always arrive in great condition, item is trackable and insured.

Are your oil paintings insured while in transit?
Yes, insured to the value of the item. And we will replace your painting if it is damaged during transit.

If my oil painting is damaged during transit will it be replaced?
If you suspect the packaging and painting are damaged upon delivery, please fill out a PM26 form which is a complaints form supplied by the courier. So that if the item is in fact damaged during transit, then we can hold the courier liable; Please call claims dept on (03) 9390 5535 or email art@picperfect.com.au immediately, with the details and we will replace the painting

What if I am not home when the parcel arrives?
Not a problem, the delivery driver will leave a card in your letter box which states to go to your nearest Post Office. You need to present your identification to collect your painting.

I can’t find the painting I am looking for!
To keep our website simple and easy we have only a limited number of paintings online. These were chosen by us, because we love them. And because we believe that you don’t want to be overwhelmed by hundreds of paintings. If we weren’t able to satisfy your taste, please let us know. Send us a picture of your preferred painting, or simply send us an email to sales@picperfect.com.au detailing what you want. We’ll send our art lovers out to search until we have what you want.

What if I dont like the finished portrait or custom order?
This problem will never be encountered as we send you a photo of the painting before it is despatched, for your approval. If you are not happy with it, our artist will fix it or repaint it with your requirements.

PRINTS FROM PHOTOS

Are your prints on canvas an exact replica of the photo?
Yes, we have a printing machine which transfers the digital photos onto the canvas

How long does it take until I get my print on canvas?
Please allow 14 Business Days for the print to be created, stretched and despacthed. Then a further 1 to 7 days for delivery, depending on where you are located. Details...

Can you create a print on canvas from a hard copy photograph?
No, we can not as the photograph in .jpg file is linked to a printing machine which creates the print on canvas.

Are your photo prints insured while in transit?
Yes, insured to the value of the item.

If my print is damaged during transit will it be replaced?
